When I started a keto journey, I was sort of sad. I mourned some of my favorite foods and drinks, and quite frankly, I was grumpy. Then I discovered how to modify a few things that I enjoyed and that made my trek much, much better. One was a margarita. The day I figured out this keto-friendly libation, my low-carb world got a little brighter.

Here's how to make it (recipe makes 2):
  • Add these items in a blender:
    • 2 handfuls of ice
    • 1 oz lime juice
    • 2 oz pure agave tequila
    • 10 drops stevia
    • Zest from one lime
  • Pulse just until it’s slushie
  • Pour into a ice-filled rock or margarita glass, 3/4 full
  • Top with sparkling water
  • Garnish with lime wedge
