One of the best things about fall is that the movies are supreme! It’s the time when we can relive our childhood with some of our nostalgic faves, get introduced to some new flicks and when cinema hasn’t yet reached the moody proportions of the Christmas holiday films. Family movie nights in my home are always a hit because...well, snacks. But there’s something special about gathering on the sofa or floor and watching something together. As the kids get older, I’m even more appreciative of these moments.

My favorite movies for fall are those that offer whimsy and maybe some thrills and mystery while being fun. Fun fact: I am a total scaredy cat so I stay away from anything that even looks like it might be scary.
