Easy Leprechaun Bait
This leprechaun bait is super simple and a yummy treat for St. Patrick’s Day or really any time and comes together quickly. The sweet and salty treat that won’t get you pinched.
Ingredients
- 1 bag microwave butter popcorn, popped (about 6 cups)
- 1 bag of mini marshmallows (10 oz)
- 1 bag of Lucky Charms marshmallows (7 oz)
- Green and yellow M&M’s
- Vanilla almond bark or white chocolate (8 oz)
- Sprinkles
- Optional - Gold covered chocolate coins
Instructions
- Melt bark according to package directions. Set aside.
- To a large bowl, add popped popcorn, marshmallows and M&M’s. Gently mix.
- Add about half of chocolate to bowl, stirring gently to distribute.
- Spread mixture over sheet pan.
- Add remaining chocolate using a zigzag motion with a spoon so it doesn’t clump in one place.
- Add sprinkles.
- Gently combine with hands or a spoon.
- Allow to set for about 45 minutes.
- Break into small pieces and serve (or store in airtight container).
- Add gold coins for a little sparkle.
